I accidentally threw out the instructions before installing. Which side of the adhesive is for the table and which is for the corner?

: The clear sheet side of the adhesive is for the table.. When you put the counter side on the counter, Rub the still covered white side to help seal it and then wait maybe 15 minutes to allow the adhesive to seal to the table. 
Then peel off white cover and attach clear guard tho the adhesive on the top of the table.

Is it easy for a baby to pull off?

No. I just tried tugging on it and it stayed put. The adhesive is on the top only so a toddler might be able to reach under the sides and try to pull it off. Still pretty strong.

will this damage zinc furnature ?

The adhesive is really sticky, so if the finish can be easily scraped off, then it might. Otherwise I don't think you'll have a problem based on my experience so far. They should be pretty easy to remove once they're heated up with a hairdryer as the directions state.
